PAYROLL GIVING
HOW IT WORKS
Payroll giving is straightforward:
- You choose an amount to give each month
- Your donation is taken from your salary before tax
- Maggs receives the full amount
Because your donation is taken before tax, it costs you less to give more. For example, a £10 donation could cost you less depending on your tax rate.
PAYROLL GIVING
WHY IT MATTERS
Regular support helps us plan, respond and be there when people need us most.
Your donation could help provide:
- hot meals and essential supplies
- access to clothing and basic needs
- support with housing, health and recovery
- a safe, welcoming place for people to come
It’s not just about one moment — it’s about being there consistently.

PAYROLL GIVING
What it means for you
Payroll giving is:
- simple — once set up, everything runs automatically
- flexible — you can change or stop at any time
- impactful — your donation supports real people, every day
You don’t need to think about it month to month — but the impact continues.
Payroll Giving
Do I need my employer to be involved?
Yes — payroll giving is set up through your employer.
Many organisations already offer this scheme. If yours does, you can usually sign up through HR or your payroll team.
If your employer doesn’t currently offer payroll giving, you can still ask — it’s often quick and easy for them to set up.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help guide you.
