ABOUT US
HELPING THE HOMELESS SINCE 1985
Our Worcester Day Centre is open five days a week, providing a safe, dry environment where homeless and particularly vulnerable people can get individually tailored support.
Located in the St. Alban’s Church at Deansway, our day centre is the first of our operations, opening in 1985 as part of a collective group from the church’s efforts to aid rough sleepers and give them a sanctuary for food and support. We’re proud to say that even now, the same operations are still in place.

WE'RE HERE FOR YOU
The Day Centre aims to be a place where homeless people can come to escape from social isolation. It gives them the chance to feel normal, have ordinary conversations and forget, for a while, about being homeless.
We’re open 5 days a week, and from 9am, we open our doors to rough sleepers and provide them with breakfast, free showers, laundry and additional support from our team of Support workers.
This support can be anything from a simple ear to listen to, assisting with benefit applications, referrals, housing, appointment making, or applying for welfare.
WAYS WE HELP
CREATING A SAFE HAVEN
Every month, we have coffee mornings in conjunction with our Health Hub every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 1pm which is open to everyone. Our Health Hub is where our service users can utilise visits from other local agencies such as a Nurse Practitioner or GP, Opticians, Podiatrist and other professional services.
We have also now launched new Art Therapy Sessions for our service users to enjoy, and are currently in the process of adding even more.
