OUR SERVICES
PROVIDING A 'STEPPING-STONE'
Since 2020, our Accommodation Project has provided rough sleepers with a ‘stepping-stone’ back into permanent housing and enabled people to develop coping strategies with the challenges of living in accommodation after having been on the streets for years. From entrenched rough sleepers to confident individuals ready to re-enter society on their own.
ACCOMMODATION PROJECT
A SAFE SPACE OF SUPPORT
Although our residents are housed, our help does not stop there. We offer up to 5 hours of support a week so that there is a safe place for people to process past trauma, adopt positive coping strategies and develop the skills they will need to go on to maintain and be successful with their own tenancy when they leave the project.
They are encouraged to learn how to budget, take responsibility for any ‘slip-ups,’ and adopt new skills that will help them search for work or volunteer and find fulfilling lives.
WAYS TO HELP
SUPPORTING THE COMPLETE JOURNEY
They also benefit from our partnership with front-line services, addressing barriers to housing, addictions, and physical and mental health issues.
We are proud of our property portfolio and successfully own at least two properties. Our Accommodation Project allows us to support our service users in the complete journey. From entrenched rough sleepers to confident individuals ready to re-enter society on their own, and we’re incredibly proud of this.
