MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN MALVERN
Back in 2019, two rough sleepers sadly passed away within weeks of each other, so the Council invited Maggs to open our second day centre in the Salvation Army Building on Newtown Road as a promise to the community that this will not happen again.
With the same aims and objectives as our Worcester Day Centre, we’re open Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30am till 2pm to provide shelter and a place to go for rough sleepers and vulnerable adults.
WAYS TO HELP
WE'RE HERE FOR YOU
We cook breakfast and lunches on Fridays, offer tea and coffee with a slice of cake and supply food to our service users to take away that is kindly donated to us from local supermarkets and make the most of it as they wish.
We can also act as a neutral ground for other partnering services, and have regular drop-ins from Platform, Social Services and more.

WAYS WE HELP
MONTHLY NHS VISITS
We have recently announced a monthly NHS health bus visit to add to our service offering where service users can monitor their overall well-being and provide basic health checks like blood tests, ECG, cholesterol and blood pressure checks. The team can then liaise with service users’ GPs if they need to for further follow-ups, etc.
