As our 2025 Harvest Appeal comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every school, church, business, community group, and individual who stood with us throughout October.
This Harvest, our community came together in the true spirit of giving — helping ensure that people experiencing homelessness across Worcestershire have access to warmth, dignity, and essential support as winter approaches.
Your Generosity Made a Real Difference
Thanks to you, we received hundreds of donations, including:
- Warm clothing and footwear
- Essential toiletries and hygiene items
- Sleeping bags, rucksacks, and outdoor supplies
- Long-life food items and festive treats
- Pet supplies for those who rely on furry companions for comfort and protection
These donations directly stock our Clothing Project and support our Day Centre and Outreach teams — ensuring we can provide comfort, care, and practical essentials when they’re needed most.

Inspired by Every Generation
We were especially touched by the children and young people who got involved.
Our team delivered Harvest talks to schools, colleges and youth groups — and even had a visit to the littlest helpers at a local nursery! 🧒🏼🌾
Hearing young people reflect on kindness, empathy, and community gave us so much hope for the future. Your compassion is inspiring.
A Special Thank You To…
- Schools and nurseries who held collections and invited us to speak
- Churches and faith groups who made Maggs part of their Harvest giving
- Local businesses who rallied colleagues and customers to donate
- Community groups who shared our appeal and spread awareness
Whether you donated a single item or organised a whole team effort — please know that you have made a real impact.
Looking Ahead
As we move into winter and launch our Christmas Appeal, your Harvest support helps lay the foundation for what comes next — providing essentials, dignity, and warmth during the hardest season of the year.
From everyone at Maggs — thank you for helping us rewrite the story for someone in need. 💚
Together, we are building a community where no one is left behind.
