Today, staff across Maggs Day Centre proudly wore green to mark Wear It Green Day, part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025.

Wearing green was a simple but meaningful way to show solidarity with those affected by mental health challenges — a cause close to our hearts at Maggs. For many of the people we support experiencing homelessness, mental health struggles are a daily reality alongside their housing needs.

By coming together in green, our team aimed to raise awareness, break down stigma, and encourage open conversations about mental wellbeing. It’s a reminder that mental health matters, and everyone deserves compassion and support.

At Maggs, we are committed to supporting the whole person — providing not just shelter and essentials, but also care that addresses mental, emotional, and social wellbeing.

Thank you to all our staff who took part and to everyone who continues to support mental health awareness in our community.
