At Maggs, the support of local businesses plays a vital role in helping us meet the everyday needs of people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage across Worcestershire. One partnership we’re particularly proud of is our ongoing relationship with Amada UK.
12 Months of Giving
Over the past year, Amada UK, based in Kidderminster, have been one of our most consistent and generous in-kind supporters, regularly providing high-quality clothing donations for our Clothing Project. Thoughtful, practical and genuinely useful, these items have been chosen with care and with the needs of our service users firmly in mind.
More Than Just Clothes
While clothing might seem like a simple thing, for someone who is rough sleeping or insecurely housed it can make a huge difference. Clean, good-quality clothing offers warmth and comfort, but it also provides dignity, confidence and a sense of being valued.
As we move into the spring and summer months, this kind of support remains just as important. While winter often brings greater visibility to homelessness, warmer weather presents its own challenges. During periods of Hot SWEP, access to suitable clothing becomes essential in helping people stay safe, comfortable and well. Being able to provide season-appropriate clothing allows us to respond quickly and effectively to changing needs throughout the year.
A Corporate Partnership Built on Community Care
We are incredibly grateful to the team at Amada UK Ltd for their continued commitment to Maggs. Their support goes beyond donations — it represents a genuine partnership rooted in compassion, consistency and a shared desire to support people in our community.
Thank you to everyone at Amada UK for standing alongside Maggs and helping us meet people’s most basic needs with care and dignity. We’re proud to work with you and look forward to continuing this partnership.
