Giving Back Where It Matters
We were delighted to welcome the team from Scimitar to Maggs Day Centre and to receive their incredibly generous £1,000 donation this Christmas. Support like this makes a real and immediate difference — helping us provide warmth, food, and vital support to people facing homelessness at one of the toughest times of year.
“It was a pleasure welcoming the team and sharing more about our work. Donations like this make a real, tangible difference — helping us provide warmth, food and vital support to people facing homelessness at a time when it’s needed most. We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown.”
– Melissa Blewitt, Maggs Fundraising, Communications & Relationships Manager
As a Worcester-based charity, partnerships with local businesses who genuinely care about their community mean a great deal to us. Scimitar’s decision to give back locally reflects a shared commitment to compassion, dignity and practical support for those who need it most.
We’re hugely grateful to everyone at Scimitar for their generosity and for choosing to stand alongside Maggs this Christmas.
