As summer comes to an end and our Thursday lunch partnership with Heart of Worcestershire College resumes, we’d like to thank everyone who helped keep our Thursday Summer Lunches running throughout the summer holidays.
During term time, our Thursday lunches are kindly provided by students and staff at Heart of Worcestershire College, who do a fantastic job preparing meals for the people who access our Worcester Day Centre. However, when the college closes for the summer break, those lunches take a well-earned pause.
Thankfully, our local community stepped in to fill the gap.
These lunches provided not just a nutritious meal each week, but also connection and community, ensuring that people visiting our Day Centre could continue to access a warm welcome alongside practical support.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave up their time, donated ingredients and rolled up their sleeves to cook for our service users:
