It may be February, but we’re still feeling the glow of the festive season after meeting with the wonderful Malvern Festival Chorus to accept their generous £1,988.84 donation, raised through their Christmas carols and their annual Carols for All concert.
Held in the atmospheric surroundings of the Great Malvern Priory, the concert brought together singers, supporters and local residents for an evening filled with traditional carols, reflection and warmth. Filled with music and community spirit, the MFC created a truly special atmosphere that captured the heart of the season.
This generous donation will help us continue providing vital support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship across Worcestershire. Every pound raised will go towards essentials such as food, clothing, advice, and access to a safe, welcoming place to be — support that becomes even more important during the winter months.
Our Fundraising, Communications, and Relationships Manager, Melissa, had this to say:
We are incredibly grateful to Malvern Festival Chorus, Great Malvern Priory, and everyone who contributed to the carol services and concert. Community support like this makes a genuine difference, helping us provide warmth, dignity and practical support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship. Partnerships like this remind us how powerful community spirit can be and help ensure we can continue to be there for people when they need us.
We are deeply thankful to Malvern Festival Chorus, the Priory, and every person who donated or attended. Your kindness helps us continue walking alongside people who need it most, offering stability, dignity and a safe place to belong.
Thank you for making the power of music go even further.
