This year, Maggs Day Centre proudly celebrates a huge milestone — 40 years of providing homelessness support in Worcestershire.
Since 1985, Maggs has stood alongside some of the most vulnerable members of our community, offering warmth, dignity, and hope when it’s needed most. From humble beginnings with just a kettle and a few chairs, we have grown into a multi-service charity supporting hundreds of individuals every year.
But the heart of Maggs remains unchanged: compassion, resilience, and community.
Reflecting on Our Journey
For four decades, Maggs has been there for people at their most difficult moments — providing not just essential services like hot meals, clean clothing, and safe spaces, but also pathways to a brighter future.
Today, our work includes tailored support at our Day Centres, housing solutions through our Accommodation Project, healthcare services via our Health Hub, and practical help from our Clothing Project.
Yet as we celebrate this incredible legacy, we know the need for homelessness support in Worcestershire is greater than ever.
