Christmas is a season of warmth, family, and togetherness, but for many people experiencing homelessness, the story looks very different.
Cold nights, empty streets, and isolation.
This winter, we’re asking our community to come together to rewrite the story, and bring hope to those in need this winter.
A Different Kind of Christmas
At Maggs, we support some of the most vulnerable people across Worcestershire, and for many of the people we work with, Christmas can be one of the hardest times of the year. While others look forward to celebrating with loved ones, our service users face freezing temperatures, hunger, and the heavy weight of feeling forgotten.
Our “Help Rewrite the Story” campaign is about changing that narrative — not just for a season, but for long into the future.
What Your Support Means
Every donation helps us provide essentials like hot meals, warm clothing, showers, clean laundry, and a safe space at our Day Centres in Worcester and Malvern.
It also helps us offer the longer-term support that changes lives: housing advice, healthcare, harm reduction, and emotional support, helping people rebuild stability and self-worth.
How You Can Help
💚 Donate – Every pound makes a difference. You can even double your impact during our Big Give Christmas Challenge (2nd–9th December), when every £1 you give will be matched.
🎁 Fundraise – Hold a festive bake sale, a Christmas jumper day, or a collection drive at your workplace or school.
🧣 Give items – Hats, gloves, socks, toiletries, and sleeping bags are always needed at this time of year.
📢 Spread the word – Share our campaign on social media and help us reach more people who care.
Every person we meet has a story. Together, we can help them start a new chapter.
