This week we were delighted to host Christmas dinner for our service users at both out Worcester and Malvern day centres. These events were a celebration of community, hope and togetherness during what can be a particularly difficult time of year for those experiencing homelessness.

We’ve been able to serve a traditional Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings, puddings, crackers, music and lots of festive fun to those who are rough sleeping, in temporary accommodation, recently housed in our own properties and some old faces that we’ve helped over the years.

Ewa, our Day Centres’ Operations Manager explains: “It’s been a pleasure being able to host our own festive lunches over the Christmas period, and seeing all of our service users eat, drink and enjoy the festivities makes it all worth it. Thank you to everyone who donated to us, we feel incredibly lucky to have so much offers of kindness.”

None of these events would be possible without the generosity of those who have supported us this Christmas – whether that be through donations, volunteering or simply spreading the word about the importance of Maggs, we would like to extend a huge thank you!

Special Thank Yous:

The Spudman, The Fruit Shack, Worcester Armed Forces and Veterans Brekkie Club
