We’re thrilled to announce that our much-loved partnership with the SEN department at Heart of Worcestershire College will continue for another academic year!
Every Thursday during term time, a group of students from the college join us at our Worcester Day Centre, where they prepare and serve a hot lunch for our clients. This weekly act of care and connection has become a true highlight for everyone involved — not just for our clients, but for our team and the students themselves.
The project offers so much more than a meal. It’s about building confidence, learning life skills, and fostering inclusion in a real-world environment. The students are supported by their dedicated tutors, and the energy they bring into the centre each week is genuinely uplifting. For many of our clients, the food is a comfort — but the interaction is what stays with them.
