Merry Christmas from Everyone at Maggs

As Christmas Day arrives, all of us at Maggs want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community.

This past year has been one of reflection, resilience and celebration, as we marked 40 years of Maggs supporting people who are homeless or vulnerable across Worcestershire. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without the compassion, generosity and solidarity of the people who stand alongside us.

Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen kindness in so many forms — from donations of food, clothing and essentials, to fundraising events, volunteering, partnerships with local businesses, schools and community groups, and messages of encouragement that remind the people we support that they are not forgotten. Every act, no matter the size, has helped us continue offering warmth, dignity and hope.

Christmas can be a joyful time, but it can also be incredibly difficult for those facing homelessness, loneliness or hardship. Thanks to your support, our Day Centres have remained places of welcome and safety — somewhere to find a hot meal, a listening ear, practical support, and a sense of belonging when it’s needed most.

To our donors, volunteers, fundraisers, partners, champions and supporters: thank you for believing in our work and for being part of the Maggs story. You are the reason we can keep showing up, day after day, for the people who rely on us.

As we look ahead to the New Year, we do so with gratitude and hope — ready to continue this work together, and to keep rewriting the story for people facing homelessness across our county.

From everyone at Maggs, we wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful, hopeful New Year 💚✨
