Our Redditch Drop-In was filled with warmth, laughter, and the smell of a home-cooked Christmas dinner this week — all thanks to the incredible team at Unity Trust Bank.
On Thursday 11th December, Unity’s staff volunteered their time, energy and talent to prepare and serve a full festive meal for our service users. From a classic Christmas lunch with all the trimmings to beautifully wrapped gifts, their kindness made the day feel truly special.
The event was a huge success, with around 35–40 people attending — one of our busiest Christmas lunches to date. For many of our service users, this meal offered not just food, but a sense of community, dignity and connection at a time of year that can feel particularly painful or isolating.
Lauren, our Service Lead for North Worcestershire, said: “Unity Trust Bank created such a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. Their team were thoughtful, organised and genuinely caring — our service users felt seen and valued. We’re so grateful for their generosity and for choosing to support our Redditch community this Christmas.”
Unity Trust Bank provided the full meal, festive decorations, and a range of personalised gifts for guests. Their commitment to social impact shines through in everything they do, and we are incredibly thankful for their partnership.
We’re thrilled to say that Unity has already expressed interest in returning next year, and we look forward to building an even stronger partnership in 2026.
To everyone at Unity Trust Bank:
Thank you for bringing comfort, joy and compassion to our Redditch Drop-In this Christmas. Your support has made a meaningful difference.
