Harm Reduction
What is Harm Reduction?
Harm reduction is about meeting people where they are.
Rather than expecting immediate change, we work alongside individuals to reduce the risks associated with substance use — whether that’s safer use, managed use, or moving towards recovery over time.
We build trusted relationships with people who may feel excluded from traditional services, helping them stay as safe and well as possible.
Harm Reduction
What we offer
Our team provides a range of practical and health-focused support, including:
- Access to safer injecting equipment and safe disposal
- Naloxone provision and overdose prevention training
- One-to-one advice and safer use guidance
- Health and wellbeing check-ins, including wound care and BBV testing
- Support to access wider health and specialist services
- Pathways into treatment, detox or recovery when individuals are ready

How we work
Our approach is built on:
Harm Reduction
Making a difference
Harm reduction can be life-saving.
By offering practical support, consistent engagement and a non-judgemental approach, we help individuals:
- Stay safer
- Improve their health and wellbeing
- Reconnect with services
- Take steps towards stability and recovery
This work is particularly vital for people who may not otherwise engage with mainstream services.
A HUGE THANK YOU
Whilst this service is funded by Worcestershire County Council and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, enabling us to deliver life-saving support across the county, community donations help us go even further.
Support with items such as clothing, rough sleeper packs, or even providing a warm cup of coffee can make a meaningful difference to someone facing homelessness.
