Are you passionate about supporting people experiencing homelessness and eager to help raise awareness about the work we do at Maggs Day Centre? As a Volunteer Ambassador, you’ll play a vital role in championing our cause, engaging the community, and inspiring support to help us continue providing essential services.

About the Role
Volunteer Ambassadors act as the voice and face of Maggs within the community. You’ll raise awareness of homelessness issues, share our mission and impact, and encourage others to get involved—whether through fundraising, volunteering, or donating. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help us build meaningful connections with local businesses, groups, and individuals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Represent Maggs at community events, meetings, and public engagements

  • Share stories about our work to inspire support and understanding

  • Help coordinate fundraising and awareness campaigns

  • Support the wider team by promoting volunteer opportunities and events

  • Act as a liaison between Maggs and the local community

Who We’re Looking For

  • A strong communicator with a genuine passion for helping people experiencing homelessness
  • Someone friendly, approachable, and confident in public speaking
  • A proactive team player who enjoys working with diverse groups of people
  • Reliable and committed, with the ability to attend occasional events and meetings
