Sat 18/01

As you can see just short of 15.5 miles today. If I omit the walk to Worcester train station my route was Great Malvern train station up the hills. Got to British camp by 11.30 so decided to do that hill too then back to Great Malvern train station.

Walking down Happy Valley nearly killed my knees. Had to get my son to carry stuff up stairs as my body went no more as soon as I got home. Now I am off for a well earned bath.

Sunday 19/01

Walked from Worcester to the Foley Arms in Malvern. Started off foggy and was literally freezing. Turned out to be a nice sunny day though. Luckily my hip didn’t hurt. Thank heavens for codeine.

At least it was a nice gentle walk. So not as punishing as yesterday

24th – 27th January

This weekend I was with friends and whilst I had thought I wouldn’t get much walking in but somehow this was my total by the end of the Thursday. Amazing how much you can sometimes walk when you aren’t trying.

January Totals

The total steps I took in January (when with my phone atleast) was 437,567. This figure just happens to be about 1000 less than our predicted expenditure for this financial year. No wonder my feet are sore.

The grand total of miles for Jan which I think is a little disappointing. I can do much better than that is…….

187.67 miles.

I think I can do better in February! So why not sponser me at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MelKirkWR2toK2 and lets see how far we can go!
